Staff members working at the bureau present relevant reports at international conferences, such as annual meetings of SETAC, Urban Environment Symposium 2010, ConSoil 2010, ACES 2010, and Nitrogen & Global Change 2011.

Workers of the secretariat contribute to expert groups from the European Food Safety Authority, DG Environment and SETAC. In the past they have contributed to working groups preparing the European Soil Strategy, CLARINET - Contaminated Land Rehabilitation Network for Environmental Technologies and CARACAS - Concerted Action on Risk Assessment for Contaminated Sites in the European Union.
